Homemaking Tips from Gail

I've been a homemaker for 20 years so I probably know more than you (jk, but seriously):

  • Use the little square plastic fastener from bread bags to hold the masking tape in place, instead of folding the end over.

  • Put your car keys on the pile of outgoing mail in the evening, so you can't forget to take it to the mailbox the next morning.

  • If you soak a pan overnight in 1 part vinegar, 2 parts baking soda and sniff of the king’s brandy you’ll find it’s much easier to clean

  • It is better to regift than to receive, so kings to the person that gave me the bread machine because it’s already on it’s way to a new home! (trickle down economics?)

  • Use woodscraps from your husbands workshop to put on the coals when you barbecue fish or poultry
